Default graphs 2s x 5000 lipo

As I get some hardcase packs (mostly cheap ones) I'll graph them here to compare them.

I was thinking these:

ACQ 2sx5000 40C pack from hobbypartz http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-40c-50...-hardcase.html for $35

I conclude after testing this pack that it will never make it at 40C without melting the cell tabs off. I prefer to get a hardcase pack without the pc board. I'd like the leads directly soldered to the tabs. Consider this a 25C pack with the cells at 140 deg F.

Sky Lipos 40C 2sx5000

First PIC 5,10,20,50 amps Temp delta F 0,10,15,45
2nd PIC 100,120 amps Temp delta F 60,65
3rd PIC 150,200 amps Temp delta F 70,83

http://www.hobbypartz.com/77p-sl5000-2s1p-40c-2222.html

There was no apparent cell pressure even at the 200 amp test , but at the end was cut short because the + lead solder melted off. I can consider this a 30C pack and was much better than expected.

Turnigy 30C 5.2 hardpack from HobbyKing $24 These are 2s2P packs

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14991 from USA.

First PIC 5,10,20,50 amps Temp delta F 0,20,31,46 or actual temp 60,80,91,106
Second Pic 10,20,50,60 Max 116 deg F
Third Pic 100, 120 amps Temps were 140 and 146

This is a pretty good pack for $24 and would be my pack of choice for Monster trucks that need to fit a hardcase standard sized pack. I consider it a 20C pack.

Turnigy 20C 5.0 hardpack from HobbyKing $20

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14976 from USA

Current 5,10,20,50 Temp delta F 0,20,37,60 or actual temp 60,80,97,120

Second pic is 10,20,50,60 amps with 140 max temp. Call this a 10-12 C pack. For $20 a nice small lightweight package will do lots of single pack 1/10 scale stuff really well. Maybe even some dual pack mild monster trucks.

HobbyKing B grade 30c 2sx5000 hard pack $15

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=15497

First Pic Current 5,10,20,50 Temp delta F 17,28,38,70 or actual temp 77,88,102,127
Second Pic 10,20,50,60 amps.

Cell tabs on this are about 140deg F when doing 50 amps and 200 deg F when doing 60 amps. The soft pack above is a better deal if you can fit it. This must be called a 10C pack.

This might be called a 12-15 Cpack.

Compare (all these will fit a standard old e-maxx tray) 120 , 100 , 50 , 20 , 10 amps

Sky Lipo 40c softpack 2sx5000
ACQ 40c hardpack 2sx5000
Turnigy 30c Hardpack 2sx5.2

I'd buy the Turnigy or the Sky if I had to fit in old 6 cell trays. If soft pack then get the Sky. If hardpack then get the Turnigy.
