Hello,
Here the presentation video of a new upgrade back coverI made myself for ASP-SC-PH-MAGNUM 5 cylinders Radial engines :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0Awu...layer_embedded
In French language now, but soon in English.
New Aluminium CNC back cover "upgrade" for ASP / SC / PH / MAGNUM F400 Radial model engines. Now the intake mixture run into the crankcase for better lubricate ( conrods, camshaft, ball and needle bearings, back of pistons and sleeves) and the intake pipes suck the mixture directly from the crankcase. Fit with absolute no modifications and re-use of original carburettor pipe, intake boots and pipes. Less weight (30 grams) , Better lubrication and corrosion protection for all internal metal parts, you can now use a methanol fuel with only 7% lubricants ( 5% synthetics + 2% castor oil )
The next step will be a glow to spark conversion for this engine with dedicated ignition and micro sparkplugs.
Oliver

I knew someone would figure out how to replicate the other UM engines. My 400 IS a great runner, but throws a lot of oil. How much, or how did you do it?
Any help is appreciated.
