The 2012 Colorado Jets rally, sponsored by Love-Air R/C, will be held August 17th through 19th.
Hours are 8AM to 6 PM Friday & Saturday, 8AM to 2 PM Sunday.
This is our 6th year, come join us at Drake Field, the home of Warbirds over the Rockies.
We have an 800' x 60' paved runway, with tons of open airspace, perfect for jets! The blue Colorado sky is perfect for leaving smoke trails.
Check out the photos from last years event [link=http://www.pbase.com/dstjohn/2011_colorado_jets]2011 Colorado Jets[/link]
More info on the club website [link=http://www.loveairrc.org]Love-Air R/C[/link]

Lame Dave. You trying to say you ran out of runway landing your jets? Or did you run out of talent?
Bring Jake, he will show you how it's done!
800 feet = plenty of room, even for you spoiled low density altitude folk with that nice thick air that lets you crawl those planes in on final with plenty of lift and drag
Think of it as olympic altitude training, once you get to sea level, you will be able to land any jet on a postage stamp!
Count me in, starting wednesday morning through sunday Dan!

Unless you find a way to lower the density altitude I will have to say ''been there, done that, got the VERY EXPENSIVE T-shirt''.....

Spot landing contest? Okay. Lets do it. Hows August 17-19th sound? Loser buys B$$rs!
C'mon Dave, you afraid to land a Flash or Bandit on a 800 foot runway? How bout this: pack your jets and send em out here, we'll shoot some video of us landin them in 300 feet up here at the jet meet.
Unless its the Evos that have problems here and not the jets !!! :O
Jetcats seem to run fine. They even tell you what your altitude is on the ECU screen when you turn on the Plane!
Seriously though bro, git out here, and bring that future hall of fame stick son of yours!!!

Ok ok, I will try to get the time off, but I'm not driving so I will have to send a jet to somebody....
