Hangar 9 60 size corsair arf
I spoke with Horizon Hobby today and they say that the Hangar 9 corsair arf will be availiable sometime in November. I believe we will be lucky if we see it before the end of the year.[&o]

RE: Hangar 9 60 size corsair arf
The hangar 9 AT-6 that I got came out about two months after the due date. I am thinking that all of the new ARFs are usually a month or two late getting out to the local hobby shops. That is why they cannot give us and exact delivery date.

Yeah the retracts are the one big question that I have about this ARF. Is anyone from Horizon or Hangar 9 out there? Can you tell us about these retract compared to the ones on the p-51. I know they are different, but are they better, as in are the not as weak?
Thanks for the info.

The landing gear fix might be to spend $2 dollars for a peice of 3/16 wire at your hardware store and replace the wire in the gear, thats what I am going to do with my H9 P-51 60 Mustang

I believe that since this gear is a rotating gear, it will take more than just installing 3/16 wire gear. The device that makes it rotate will be involved with the fix.

I have a pair of pneumatics from a TopFlite Corsair that took a dirt nap a couple of years ago I plan on using in this plane if the flight reports come back favorable. The H-9 Corsair looks a lot like the TopFlite Corsair , or am I the only one that thinks so? Later

Bummer, Thanks for the info.
Looks like a nice plane by the pics. H-9 puts out a nice ARF. I'll keep a eye out for the reviews as they come in.

Im in the same boat as you guys are. I spotted the wobly landing gear in their recent catalog. you can see the plane is leaning to the right in the photo. Who ever of you guys gets their plane done first, find the best way to correct the gear problem and then post the results. MJS

I talked to my LHS "Hobby Express" the other day. He has one ordered for me, he called Horizon, apparently it has been pushed back to mid December sometime. [&o] Bummer! But on the other hand, maybe they will have any issue with the retracts worked out. Here's hoping!
