RCU is gone
sad to find out that attachments/photos from older post are missing.
RCU was a good "library" of knowhow when you where searching.
Now most of this attachments/photos have disappear .
Rare building pics that should have been kept as a treasure dont exist anymore.

Always host your pics external on a trusted source such as your own server space or equivalent. Uploading photos to a local forum is always a risk, specially when crosslinking to other forums from the first forum. I agree it's sad, but not unpredictable. I use imageshack, probably not 100% safe either, but way better then local forums with more or less noob administrators.

This had me scampering to the Savex F-16 thread & saving all the relevent information
& pics.
I suppose they can't store the info on 'dead threads' forever. - John.

RE: RCU is gone
That's what I've been doing for years also.
I keep saving on my NAS all the relevant pieces of information I can gather here on RCU.
It has helped me several times already, as pictures were no longer available when I needed to refer to them.

It´s a serious problem, not only with RCU:
don´t throw away your old printed pictures, mags and books!
