Bought this second hand. Wasn't able to ask what brand is this. I'm in build mode right now. I need to know the brand to get support.
Wingspand is:58"
Balsa Internals w/ thin foam and plastic (fiberglass) skin.
I was believed it was CMPF4UCorsiar 50 brand because it has almost the same spec is this one. But after checking build logs of CMP brand, some markings didn't fall right.
Here's the key difference:
- The wing is in 1 piece. I didn't see any signs it was two glued together..
- It has detailed scale linings around the aircraft. It is obvious on the bottom wing.
- It has dummy mufflers on the bottom part of the nose. (i didn't see this in CMP brand)
- It has sa dummy radiator on the wings. Not sure if CMP has the same.
- The belly part of the wing is also different.
Please help.
I'll try to post pics of internals ASAP.

ORIGINAL: Herc Pilot
Pilot/OK Models - EZ series
(Not to be confused with the Pilot company that builds aerobatic ARF's in China or Pilot-1 distributed by Hobby Lobby.)

Every indication leads me to that. There were a few companies overseas that sold Pilot/EZ models more recently, but I've been unable to find anymore info on this one online.

Thanks! Been suspecting it is EZmodels from the 80's.. Now it will be harder to get support from this.
I just realized that this is a rare piece... having second thoughts of flying it.

Definitely not a EZ/OK model airframe, as they never produced a Corsair model. It is a Great Planes arf with similar construction to the EZ models, that was produced years ago. It is a good flying model. Good luck with it.

Thanks... been looking for website or pictures that tell me about Great Planes F4U Corsair. Can't seem to find a single one. Please help me find info in building this one.
Thanks again!
btw: Is the GPF4UCorsair Kit different from ARF?
