I am using a pro Zinger 20-6/10 prop with the BGX with great results. It is installed
in a Midwest Extra300.

Im using a 20x8 carbon fiber prop on a Great Planes Patty Wagstaff ARF. The engine is pumped. I have experimented with different fuel mixes and found the best mixture to be 5-7% nitro with the recommended 18% oil. Less nitro will result in a little bigger "flat spot". Much more than 7% and the engine started to run warm in my application. I tried 15% in the very beginnig and could not get the engine to run rich at top end.
My plane weighs 15lb wet. Although it will not rocket out of a hover it has plenty of power. The carbon fiber prop yeilded 400rpm more than the Top Flite wood prop. The engine turns 7400-7600 rpm static on a good day. If you can somehow get 8000 RPM with a 20x8 you will have all the power you could ever want in a 15lb plane.
I love this engine. The first start of the day is a little difficult only because you are guessing on the ammount of prime. After the first start the engine fires up with one BACKWARDS flip of the prop. It quit on me one time and that was because the Muffler was lying in the cowling.
I piped up here only because I spent quite a bit of time dialing this engine in and it has paid off. I hope you find the info useful
