Last Sunday, Amsterdamn and I had a few of our RCs that don't fly, out at the flying field. He had his gorgeous, all-aluminum Evader out for a beating. The truck, as it is in the vids, is sporting some rather large Masher 2Ks, an OS18 CV-R, 4 shoe clutch, and entirely too many other odds and ends to mention.

These videos are SICK, this truck is SICK...

You guys wanna see what wheelies from 20 MPH with Mashers look like? ....over and over? You think an all aluminum truck is too heavy to be fast? You have to check out these vids. I had my 1/8th scale buggy out there with a monstrous Collari .30 and as fast as it is, the Evader wasn't very far behind in the straight line blasts from a standstill. Oh yeah, did I mention, there are almost NO stock pieces left on the truck.

hey frost, great vid. that evader is a wheelies like a champ! seems almost uncontrollable if you punch it off the line. how's your buggy holding up to the collari?

jesus man that truck has so many hop ups you can't even call it an evader anymore. you should make a line of trucks stock like that and mass produce em. fricken tight... what are the damage reports on the body? looked like it took a thrashing.

The only reason i think it wheelies like that is because the dude put the 4 pack batteries at the far rear...[&:]

It's a hump pack, and they ALL MOUNT ON THE REAR... Just like the GT. He didn't "put" them there, they go there.

Too much power is just enough! Vid was good, but a little too "Metaly" for mah taste.

I'm a month late answering but what the hell... I have an LX Pro and the 2spd's plastic spurs and no diff action are a poor match to this engine. I had such a hard time keeping teeth on the 1st-gear-spur that I pulled it out and put back the center diff. The center diff opens up like MAD with this engine. The buggy guys are gonna hate on me for saying this but I used 100K oil in the center to keep from losing all of that insane torque through the front tires. It helped finish off the ring-gear on the rear diff as well, but that was most likely awhile in the making. It's nothing that 20 bucks on eBay couldn't set straight though...

I have the same engine in my RC10gt and I am running a 62 spur and a 22 tooth CB. I had to relocate my batteries to the front. Top end is mad and it took some of the wheelies away.

I just put the OS 18 CV-RX on my evader and it has sick sick sick sick torque.

I'll be dropping down for some mashers this week and see what I can get out of it.

My car is ALMOST like this. All I need is more aluminum.

Got the engine, clutch, gearing, mashers and allum diff....

200 more bucks and I'll be there. Maybe next week.
