Default Starting my New General Lee Revo

This is being done on a stock Revo truck body. I stuck the window stickers on the inside to use as window masks and to do the window outlines, I'll post some pics when I get my digi-cam back tomorrow. Anyways I was thinking should I make the bed area black, carbon fiber or orange with the rest of the body. I'm thinking orange or black to keep the whole thing only those 2 colors? Any thoughts?[sm=confused.gif]

I totally screwed up not 1 but 2 of the decals I bought, of course I only got 2. Blows so much, I already masked and outlined the windows, stuck on the numbers and screwed the flags. I had to make a cutout for the antenna and forgetting they stick on the inside and various distractions going on I messed up 2. Then all I had to do was spray the orange.

It'll be alot faster when I get my RB TM323, plus the orange head will match the body.

This is such a simple job to do, all you need is 1 color, the decals and I would recommend a backer to protect from scraping from the inside. The color is pactra competition orange in a rattlecan, and I got the decals from a guy I hooked up with here on the forums named [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/profile.cfm?memid=183073]Tabland[/link], he said it was ok to PM him, he also made me some Oakland Raider decals. Be sure to let him know that allen0622 sent you so I can get a good deal the next time I need something hehehe

da da da da da da da da da da da da....yeee haaa!!!

Prowd owner of the first three seasons of the original and REAL Dukes of Hazzard, although I'm sure going to see the new one on the 7th. *sigh* they got everyone right except for Boss Hogg...oh well, we'll live.

Nice body Allen.....does it freeze in the middle of a jump for a commercial break just to have Wayland tell you what just happened 2 seconds ago? lol

Phew it's getting late, I better go to bead before I keep reading threads like this.

Allen have you finished the oakland raiders body yet? I really want to see what the finished product looks like. By the way the General Lee Revo turned out great. Holler at me if you need anything else.
