Well, I know there's A LOT of commotion about the "Tyco RC Drift Kings" that are for sale for $60.
One side of people saying how much junk it is. And another side that is not really going against the other side, but just supporting the product.
And yes, I admit that it is cheap. Because it is O_O. But, as a non-hardcore RC hobbist, it's really great fun. Especially not having to bust $300. It's not like i'm against the TT-01s n' stuff, but it's just nice to just save money.
So now, here's the RX-7 model in action, driven by me ^_^. I hope you guys enjoy. Especially the quality of the video(320x240, best EVER). And please excuse the small backyard. Because of that, I can't go full speed until I actually drift. I can't do MUCH there, but I made the best out of it.
Here it is in action.

And here's me hitting stuff.

A nice drift. With a horrible ending.

Note as these are .mov files. If you can't play them, try downloading quicktime. I'm pretty sure quicktime should be able to play them. Here's the link, it's free.

Well, I couldn't go faster or i'd lose control... it's a small area and it goes downhill on the left side. And it was $60. But then I ordered it online, so with S&H, it was $70 v_v

Well duh! That's a frickin' TC3 !!! And i'm in like a super small frickin' backyard! I have to keep acceling off to keep my line and control. Nor am I going full speed while i'm going straight. Jesus christ, man. I'm not doing super long drifts or I'll totally nail something or land in the grass... >.>

you know im on oonoiroo back. i have a TC3 With Brushless and i can say i like it. but to be honest speed has nothing to do with it.its all about the torque. and that car looks like it has enough power to have fun with. if you were acctually listening to the video i could hear that it still had a bit of power left to go before he hit the turns. And for people who dont have $300+ that is a DAMN GOOD DRIFTER! It would be a GREAT drifter for beginners who are thinking about getting into drifting and dont have the money for it. I would honestly recommend that to people who are thinking about getting into drifting. it is a great starter and it is dirt cheap compared to a Hobby Grade RC Car. and i have to say that that corner that you pulled in your TC3 but It WAS only one turn. not to talk crap or anything, you have helped me out alot and im sure you a great drifter, but it was only one turn. anyone could do good on one turn. if you can go to the carpet track i would really like to see the drifts if you can catch them on video. I REALLY HOPE YOU DONT TAKE OFFENSE TO THIS BECAUSE IM NOT MEANING TO OFFEND. IM JUST TRYING TO MENTION SOMETHING THAT COULD ACCTUALLY MEAN ALOT TO SOMEONE OUT THERE.

yep it was much faster than your thing you claim to be a drifter

And in the last video, I pull a drift off a nice drift.
My apologies for not being hardcore enough. Sheesh.

[>:] Hey oonoiroo! That was really good videos. You can drift really good. Just as I thought, Drift Kings are good. Wouldn't it be funny if someone with a drift king went to a rc drift event with yokomo's and all and got in the top 3! Well, you done it for me. I'm getting a RX-7 today. I'm really good too. I was messing with my team mates silvia drift king and I am really good! No Lie. Well, since you drift that good on a small area. I want you to join my team. It's called Team Blow Valve. We only have 2 ppl right now. but go to my site on Teamblowvalve2.zoomshare.com; read the How to Join section and please let me know if you want to join. And for all yall bitc*** who thought drift kings couldn't do it. Next year I'm hitting the competition with my Drift King RX-7. I'll post a video of it somewhere on my site. oh, by the way, how did you post those videos on that page?
