Ok spent a few hours Sunday and Monday and added the entire top section to my track. Nice BIG jump into a straight and hairpin turn, little S curve and a double, soon to be a triple, then onto the Hill jump back to main track. I will be building my Stand where the ladder and picnic table is now in pic's. 5-6' tall, 8' long and 4' deep with stairs on both ends I think. So far looks like another $415 for the material. I will have some wheelbarrow wheels on one end so I can lift it with my frontloader on tracktor and move it if needed. Have 3 buddies all ready to help build it, man ya get a few guys drunk and they all wanna buy toys. Have 2 talked into MGT's and 1 is thinking Revo, Ill have my own private racing club in no-time, oh and gunna paint the backstop on burmed corner black/white checkered LOL
I have added to main as you can see, Plywood on jumps, burmed a few more corners, whoops on far right sweeper corner, groomed and added 300' of flex ADS pipe. Still need ta fine tune a bit.
I took out the sprinkler before i tested track tonight, wife and I, and man what a difference it made. Mulcher tires just stuck and ripped it up, was sweet, didnt try the bow-ties wife was driving that one.....
Oh and pic's are from the peak of my roof..
What do ya think guys? Any tips or ideas

Looks really nice for a private track! How wide are your lanes at the narrowest spot? Defiantly wish I had it in my back yard but I do not have that much room and way to many trees. Nice job!

Lets see the right side is like 165'x65' and upper part is new but id estimate 100'x45'. narrowest lane is 8' wide at a few jumps and corners, most jumps are a 4x8 sheet of Sheathing but they widden after jumps. My plan next year is ta bust out my tiller and make em alll about 12' wide, once a few more of my friend get trucks LOL
Love it and just spent like 2 hours grooming, improving and bashing

Looking good, man!!
I have added a couple of bags of gypsum to my surface, and WOW...what a difference. If your track doesn't hold moisture and is not packing into a good surface...Check out gypsum.
I got it at Menards (any lumberyard with a garden center) for about 4 bucks a 40 lb. bag. I spread it on with a lawn spreader and watered it in. It took a little while for it to work in, but now it is really nice. I used 80 lbs. in my little track, so you would prob need at least 5 or 6 bags to treat your track once. I also didn't apply mine evenly, so I have a little variety in surface.
Keep the dirt coming in...never enough, is there?

Nice, its better than my track, mine only about 450 feet long yours looks bigger than that. what i did was make wooden jumos that can be moved around so you can race both ways and have some more variety.

sounds weird so i didnt say it but yeh, i did that too, all you need is some wooden plnks and throw over the carpet and you have jumps.
