It certainly is, and one beautiful and great flying aircraft too! A friend had one in the early 90s and I ordered one but the FK production of the kit was slow and I couldn’t get one. I still have the one page listing showing the FK kits. Bought my Tiporare instead.

In my opinion these were the last of the really beautiful looking pattern aircraft.

I remember a few guys at one of the clubs I belonged to had a Speeda... I started trying to save up my pennies (I was a teenager) and finally scraped up the 150 bucks for the kit, only to find out that it went out of production!

TheShirt,

Why not use the throw setting from one of your other aircraft, for low-rate and add little more for your high-rate as a start. Maybe 8178 can help you out with a little info.

I enjoy it by looking at it. Maybe I will fly it next spring. I was cruising through some older threads and said "wait a minute, I've seen that plane before!". I need to find an air adaptor for the Rhom retracts air inlet valve though.

How to input air into the Rhom inlet valve is the issue. apparently there is an adapter that i don't have.

Are you missing the probe shown on my page? If so the old style Spring Air probe works with the Rhom valve. They might have some left. The probe just slides in the valve and seals because it has a tapered shape.

Mike, I missed your advice there. I saw spring airs and didn't follow. I will revisit your thread. Thx
