I’m building a trailer for my Turbo Vee. This is the first 1/10 th. Scale trailer
I have built. I have built full size trailers before. I patterned this after my full
sized jet boat trailer. The frame is all aluminum wielded together. The axels
are carbon fiber. The fenders are made out of a flat piece of aluminum, that I
molded using a form made of hard wood. I really like how my trailer jack turned
out. What do you think. I’m open to suggestions.

That's really nice. ...how I wish I could tig weld. How long did it take to build it? Have made you made the tongue yet? Do you have an RC truck with a ball you can hook up to?

Love your work!
One question.
Is the ball attatched to the rear of the car or the front of the trailer?
The pictures don't add up.
Regards Brettos.

Finished # 2 last night.
I think the fenders was the hardest part, I was almost done with one
And burned a hole in it.
Then my wood mold broke so I had to make a new one out of aluminum.
I used my new lathe on the winch and trailer roller.

That's so Cool! would you be able to do a lauch with it? and then get it back up on the trailer, and pull it out of the water with the car? that would take a little practice i would think - i know it does with 1:1 stuff

Wheres the fishing gear and waterski accessories, complete with action figures.
Love your work!
Should be more of you, indeed there are.
Love the barrel back is that a kit?
Are the joints on the trailer soldered? (Silver or lead).
Looks real nice, I bet you have spent hours just looking at them.

Brettos,
Its soldered aluminum, The finders are made from a flat peice of aluminum formed
with a hardwood and aluminum mold. I use a propain torch. this place has rods you can get to weld aluminum.
The metal has to be very clean.

The trailer was custom made for a Ready-to-Run Pro Boat Barrel Back, for a guy in Texas.

heres a full size trailer i made for behind the mountain bike... for aircrafts mostly but now i have to rig it so it hold the boats. top built out of tent poles (aluminum) and covered with coroplast. yes coroplast. the stuff planes are made from....the bottom of the trailer was made from a crate (also Light aluminum) used for pocket bikes. also on mountain bike wich is not pictured are mini phantom lights for headlights, working brake/tail light, also have signal lights all around. the same as trailer. will post pics of both when nicer out. too much snow here to move the trailer.
