Lakeland, FL here (about 1/2 hr drive from Tampa). I'm completely new to the hobby also. It's very difficult to learn when there is no one near you to bash/race with.
I've been glued to these forums since buying my LST last month. I'm looking for someone to bash with on the weekends.

totaly losi,
I'm in FWB as well, and live near the track you mentioned. I just got into the hobby myself, and am very interested in getting to know local hobbyists and start learning! Did you get to the 30 December race?

Flevader,
B&B has an outdoor road and offroad track. I know they race alot of nitro there. Most of their offroad is nitro, I'm not sure of their 1/10th gas rules though. I run electric and rarely if ever see any electrics on the track other than myself. I have an outlaw black RC10B4 FT. I wish more electrics would show for the races, as they just redid their offroad track. And have boatloads of electric and nitro parts in stock.

Unfortunately, I'll be out of town for the upcoming Battle at the Beach, but it's gonna be fun!

We got another load of clay and redid the track Friday. The track now has an option lane, a better pit lane, and is 350sqft bigger.
Racing start at 11:00am this Sunday at Old Englewood Raceway. We have 64 club members now, tell a freind and come down and race with us.
Happy Fathers Day.
