Nice work, but a few questions, what material, how heavy, and how does it sound.

The two headers I purchase by Krumscheid (K&S) 20 euro a piece. the rest of the materials is out of the scrap iron box.

Hello Cesar,
Not only handcrafting but muffler desing looks impresive... inside there are more than the usually seem drilled plates named "waffle".
For the newbies, how all these tubes an chambers do work as a muffler?

And that is what happens in the muffler, the sound must go through all the pipes and holes and bump into each other.
furthermore is it a rule that the restriction of the muffler is aprox. 70-60% off the exhaust port and you must reach that point in the last chamber of the the muffler.
The total volume of the muffler is aprox. 16x the volume of the engine and furthermore make the first chamber the biggest of the three for example 40%-30%-30%.
Make the header pipe as long as posible by let it end at the end of the muffler and let the outlet in front of the muffler, (front in-front out cannister)

Yes Pe, and i am verry satisfied.
I am turning a Engel 27x12 3 blade with 6300 rpm. with that combo the sound is reasonably.
But when i am turning the Mejzlic 30x10 2 blade the sound is much to loud, the prop tips going to fast and the tips are not narrow enough.
The Engel super silent 3 blade has verry narrow tips that make a lot less sound.
With the MVVS 116 and that prop the Pitts (14,5 kG) is inlimited vertical. That engine is extremely strong thats a fact.
Cesar (Ruud)
Zie mijn eerdere mailtje aan jou.
Hoi Pé,
Hier wat gegevens,
MVVS 116
Mezlic 30x10 5900 t/min
3W 30x10 5400 t/min
Menz 30x10 5700 t/min
Engel 27x12 3 blad super silense 6300 t/min
Gr. Ruud.
