+ photos...

This is a F/A-18B version.

The difference in A/B and C/D version are minims. A lot of panel lines are in bad possition. The nozzle details are mistaken. The infly refueling prove panels are mistaken too. The panel access in the side of fuselage has a small hinges that no are estimated, but in the kit are to much big. and a lot of details that no are to scale....

I´ll like to make the best job possible.

Regards from Spain.

cmjets, can you explain to me how you made the hinges work on the canopy. I was looking at using robart hinges but then when you lift the canopy it will hit the back of the fuse. Please post some pics if you can.

Hi Dig it:

The hinges in the canopy are like the gear doors, but made home.

I made one in plywood for test and them I made it in fiber glass. (electrician circuits).

I put photos of the hinges and the block system. I use a Hitec 645MG for the moviment and HS 81 for the block with a secuencial door system. I swich up and the block is retired, them the canopy is open and when I swich down, the canopy down and them the block is out.

Now I am painting the model, when I install the servos again, I will put a video from inside.

Regads.

hmmmm, I see. Now, can you tell me. The "simulated" canopy hinges at the rear of the canopy, do they bind at all, or simply lift with the canopy?

Hi Carlos,

Great refuel probe. Are you going to make it really functional? Now the question is where you can find a tanker for it.

Well done.
