I fly out at Lowes Motor Speedway. We have a club there and yes there are powered planes there also. I go most days when there is no one around. Plenty of room and pretty good thermals around. Today I was there late in the afternoon and there was really no lift anymore. I have also been looking at the Hump and Dalton Park for slope flying.

The Lump really is more "hill generated thermal" flying. And no slopes at Dalton Park either.

I went by Dalton Park yesterday and checked it out. I found the pasture facing North and it seemed to have some lift yesterday. I have also been to the Lump, and without watching someone launch and fly there, I am a little worried about flying there.
I plan to be out at the speedway today around noon. Come on out and lets talk. Look for the Big Green Pig (Surburban) and the BOT.
