Well, showed up to cold rain at 11, but by the end of the day there were 25 pilots and jets taking to the sky!! Tomorrow should be better as we will get an early start, and better weather!!

Great shots John. I can tell from these pics that you must have upgraded to better glass or changed something from the pics that you posted back in June or July. I think you had a 20D?

haha, yeah, the lighting was harsh yesterday too.... I got a Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS for the 20D just before JOW, that made a HUGE difference in picture quality.

I think thats Nony's tamjet F-16

Yup, that is my TJ F-16. I got the smoke nozzle from Tam just a couple of days before the event and finished the install late the night before leaving. I didn't know what to expect, but was actually surprised when everything worked!!! On this shot we (jr was flying) landed with some smoke fluid left , and I told my son to burn it off...the low rpm of taxiing and a little bit of a tailwind created this pretty neat smoke show. Fortunately, John was there with his camera to catch it...! I have a bunch of pictures too, but I just got home, so they will have to wait till tomorrow...
