Mike:
There is a nasty rumor going around in the 3D forum that Horizon is discontinuing the Showtime. One person suggested that maybe its just for a new Showtime X plane coming out.
I would like to congratulate you on your design of this plane -- I love it. I think it flys fantastic and the SFG's are very fun to play with. At my field there is a national champion that flew my plane to help me set it up. When he went to do a hammerhead turm, he said "Oh my XXXXXXXXXX God". The plane is just a blast to fly and I would be sorry to see it go. Any comments on a replacement or that the rumor is unfounded?

I think you guys will like th enew model. We'll debuit it at the iHobby show in Chicago this week. It is the ShowTime 50. A smaller 46 size version on the ShowTime, perfect for the Saito 82 (gives awesome power), 46 size 2-strokes or ep like the E-Flite Power 60.
Its the same scheme as the 90 but in Pearl Blue instead of Purple.
Its not a straignt scale down, I made some changes to improve the low speed 3D even more. Main changes are a different wing planform, ie, mre wing area (lowr wing loading) so hi alpha and general low spped 3D is better. Its more floaty. The stab is also larger so the elevtor authority is better at low speeds. Has a sub fin/rudder for even more rudder area and authiority.
The precision is just as good as the 90 though. It had the removable SFGs just like the 90. 2-piece wing and removable top fuse hatch, but a one-piece glue in stab. Tail surfaces are still arfoiled, not flat, but to kep weight down on the smaller model, we went with the one-piece stab.
Price is the same as the FuntanaX 50.
I think itll be a big hit.
