Well after several years I’ve decided to reproduce the OK Models Supra~fly 45. I have already started the drawings and have included a picture of the plan progress. This plane will have a built up fuse, fin, and stab but the wing will be a foam/balsa type. I will be using retracts and a .60-.61 rear exhaust w/pipe. I’m trying to make this as close to original as possible. I have a NIB ARF kit as well as a few flyers that I will be using to help with replicate some of the parts. I will be making a mold from the NIB cowl and the new cowls will be glass. I will also have to make a plug of the canopy to have those pulled too. If anyone has any expertise in these areas and would like to help on the project in trade for plans or fuse parts please contact me. I’m going to try to keep this thread up to date with the build process.

Gratuitous pic here!
A gentleman emailed me asking about the CG location of the Supra Fly and I measured 4 3/4 from the leading edge at the wing saddle. Does that jive with you guys?
Mine has a full-piped Rossi-60 and it is on RAILS
I had the 25 version in the mid 1980's with an OS-28F that was awesome as well....

I have several original manuals. I'll dig one up and see what I can find.

When I lived in KY I had a Supra Fly 45 with a rear exhaust Rossi 61 and retracts. What a great airplane. I eventually retired it due to old age (of the airplane). Wish I hadn't!

I am in search of a copy of manual for the Supra Fly 45 Unlimited from OK model's EZ line. I purchased Ryan's
Supra for my Hanno Special with Dave Shadel's ABC or AAC Piston & liner ( still need to break in). Probably use with Asano 60 size carbon pipe rather than the old hanno pipe.
If there really is going to be a kit available in the future, I will definitely get one.
For now anyone has manual?? I am trying to get some parts & kits from Japan, Korea etc.
Forgot to ask. I saw a few pictures of Supra Fly with some kind of soft mount which I believe using the isolators from DaveBrown. Any idea how to add that?
Thanks,
IP
So far my collections of old plane has been reduced to Yoshioka Dash Five (45 size kit), Flash RS. Shouldn't have sold all those Yoshioka kits.
