Default The one to end it all Official Emaxx Thread!

Okay there have been about 8 tries at creating an official emaxx thread, all of which failed and had badly spelled titles, but this one if different! This one will not only survive, but it will prosper! lol well yeah just post your emaxx stuff in here. I'll start with recent news for my emaxx:

I just bought some integy type 2 front and rear blue aluminum bulkheads. I also bought a robinson racing 72T steel spur gear with the dual slipper pads (finally got rid of the slipper pegs!!!!). I also bought from 1/8" aluminum sheet so that I can cut my own chassis, I'll post some pics of the buildup and final result. I also bought some 1/16" sheet to make skids with. I'll also post a list of upgrades I have in my emaxx:

Lunsford titanium hinge pins
Integy blue aluminum chassis brace
Integy blue aluminum front and rear bulkheads
RPM bulkhead braces
RPM blue front bumper
RPM black front and rear shock towers
RPM skid wear plates (full set)
Great planes s-600 motors (2)
Traxxas heatsink
Deans plugs all around
Team Orion 3000mah bash packs
RPM black a arm (only one of the front)
Robinson racing 72T steel spur gear w/ dual slipper pads
custom aluminum chassis
custom aluminum skids
Futaba 3PM radio
Proline Road rage tires
ESP wheelie bar
Steel screw kit

and that's it for now! lol I am working toward adding a BL system once I get a nitro buggy which I will convert to electric.

Post your emaxx stories and pics!

depending on batteries used, but on bash packs (12 cells) I would say not more than 29 mph with stock gearing in second gear. Why don't you install your titans and measure it with your GPS? BTW nice truck! I love the bumper (got it for my emaxx too!)

I'll post a few pictures of my custom modified e-maxx. It uses a t-maxx chassis, revo steering knuckles and axle/drive shafts, locked axles, custom fabbed 4-link suspension, robinson racing diffs with lockers, 4 wheel steer, hv-maxx, 1/8 scale XTM truggy tires. I can't remember the rest, but without further ado, here it is.

Well I'm not really going off any refernce stuff, but I've decided to buy a sheet of lexan and then cut that so that it fits nicely into the emaxx and then I will trace it onto the aluminum and then cut the aluminum sheet to size. Then I can put the aluminum in and adjust it around to make it fit nicely.

well my R/C stuff arrived today! I got the 1/8" aluminum sheet which is so stiff that I can't bend it even if I push with all of my strength! I also got a I think 1/16" or maybe less thick sheet of aluminum to make skids with. I might use the extra 1/8" aluminum to make some shock towers though it would be a shame since I spent $30 on new RPM shock towers just like a month ago! I also got the RR steel spur gear and blue integy bulkheads. I also got a new 3PM radio with 2 servos so that'll be going in my emaxx! I think I will replace the stock shifting servo with the faster and stronger futaba S3003 servo. I will install everything tomorrow and I'll be sure to post pics of my new chassis upon completion!

haha you're a dedicated emaxx fan I take it?

Well I finished cutting out and filling my chassis out of the 1/8" aluminum sheet. I already drew where to cut for the tranny and servos, but I haven't cut those holes yet. I also finished my rear skid out of 1/16" aluminum and am almost done with my front skid. I also installed the blue bulkheads and man do they look sweet! They match the blue chassis brace too, so that's a plus!

Why have 4 E-maxxs? Hop up one or two and you'll be much happier! I have a super E-maxx, and its a blast. It doesn't break, and goes about 45mph. Why not sell the others and get an indestructable beast?
