Default MT2 twin disc setup

Does anyone know if there is a twin disc conversion for the MT2 or will the Savage one fit only I've put a Savvy 25 engine in mine and I've got all the power I'll ever need!!! but cant stop the bloody thing quick enough. I've included a few pics also I think I need to do a twin tank setup as 75cc of fuel wont last long[img]

Hi, a twin disc conversion can be done (someone has done one elsewhere on this forum) although I'm sure if they used the Savage twin discs since they have different outdrives. Let me know how you get on, I've thought about doing it myself.

Yeah I noticed the Savvy discs have a hex shaped hole in the middle but wondered if you could adapt the centre diff or maybe just get a second disc and pads and longer mounting screws to double them up

I did a similar thing to my Tmaxx i used to have. I got a second disc, and 2nd set of brake pads. I then ground down the brass push rod so that both discs could sit on the disc carrier. Then dremelled a small part of the chassis so there was enough clearance for everything. That was all it took. I dont know if this helps you though as i am not familiar with your trucks layout, but it might give you some ideas.
