This plane was given to me by a friend. He salvaged it from an old barn and we have no idea how long it was there. I love older aircraft and I would really like to restore this plane to it's former glory.
I have discovered that this is a Conquest IV, designed by Dave Patrick. It's missing the belly pan, so I guess I'll need to fabricate one. Does anyone out there have any old pictures of a Conquest IV that I could use as a reference?
Any other information regarding this plane would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Precision Aero Composite's still manufactures the plane so you might be able to get the belly pan from them.

Good Luck on your rebuild project... great to see someone else keeping old pattern birds alive....
In case you haven't noticed, there is a Conquest for sale in the planes for sale section here on RCU... I'm sure that the owner could provide valuable pics and info such as CG.... I'm posting a pic of a Conquest I have just to give you a reference...

Is there anyone who might have a plan and/or build notes of the beautiful Conquest IV?
Thanks in advance, David.

Second part of the problem is I am out of town for between 60-90 days...f you haven't got a copy by then please remind me and I'll try to copy mine for you...
The dude who won the Conquest on "the bay" has a good set of prints (from the photos anyway)
Have Fun...

Chuck,
many thanks for your reply. I'll contact you upon your return if still in need.
Just to ask though, when you say a "set of drawings" are these referring to those in the manual (assuming one exists) or are these produced/obtained from another source?
David.

Philips Aircraft manufactured the kit that I have...I'm not sure if anyone else offered the Conquest IV??? I believe R/C City manufactured a couple later Conquest models if I'm not mistaken...Conquest VII maybe??
Have Fun...
Chuck
