Default Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet

Check out this Bob Cat copy . Falcon 120 Jet from Nitro Models. Looks like a good platform for a medium size turbine.

Wouldn't that be this plane with the nearly 1800 posts in one thread?

Any word on this yet. Everyone, it is different than the BC 50. Dont confuse the two. Plug in wings, quality work or pile of reinforcing needed. I believe it has flaps and set up for retracts. Just courious if anyone has one in there hands yet. Thanks.

Jed, there is a small thread on this on the extreme speed site. I called the number for the ad, found out it is not set up for retracts. You have to do a bit of re-engineering. Rick

Hey all, just googled Nitroplanes Falcon 120. Got lots of hits, some from German sites . I found a larger pic of the one above showing flaps and retracts. But it doesn't match any of the pictures on the website for Nitroplanes. The pictures they do show don't have flaps and nothing of the undercarriage. Again when I tried calling, the lady answering could not give me any specifics, I think her only job is to take orders. Jed, just look at the extreme speed on the first page, really no useful info there. Rick

Is the 120 retract ready? If so what retracts and where can we purchase them?
TIA Steve

If we want to install our own pneumatic retracts, can you tell us what fits?

How do the booms attach to the wings?

Hi, the falcon 120 is definitely retract ready, but the pictures you'd uploaded are the bobcat size 25 that we are pushing out most likely late this month

Jose, since you started this thread, I think you should be the first to get this one and retrofit for turbine propulsion. I know you can do it and make it look good. See you at the field on Sunday. Alex.

Imagine the work that would have to be done to put the fuel tanks in the wings to get enough fuel for a turbine.

The bobcat had no room in there to put enough fuel, so they were built into the wings.

If someone comes up with a solution for that, I'd like to know.

Oooooh, good one Sean buddy. Had not thought of that. Perhaps I will have to order one of those Reitmyer Bobcat copies. I hear they are REAL cheap!!!!

Certainly you would rather be on the list for this:

Recieved my Falcon 120 yesterday. Haven't had alot of time to go through it yet, but what I have seen looks very good. It is retract ready, flaps, plug-in wings,, bolt on tailbooms and the fiberglass looks very nice. I will try to get some pics posted in the next couple of days. Can't afford a turbine so I am looking at a Saito 150 or 180.
