I have been racing 1/10 carpet with a Komodo Dragon 19T. I have been noticing that on the forums that many people have different opions on the fastest 19T (and there's lots of talk about the Team Checkopint Money). Also, I have been noticing at my track that many of the other 19T's are faster than mine (in low and high range).
So, here's the poll of the 19T's and please post with reasons if you vote.

best 19t spec motor is the money motor, hands down no questions ask. second would be the orion element then the trinity komodo, then the cobalt.

I recently bought a Chameleon Pro 19T for my nephew's Evader ST. I have an Orion Formula SV Pro BB 13x3 in my
Evader BX Pro buggy, and with identical packs fresh off the charger, the Chameleon Pro hung within 2 feet in a
100 foot drag race. Says something about both motors I suppose
.
EDIT: I bought the Chameleon Pro because the guys at the LHS race with them, and love the motor.

Whatever happened to all the Reedy Quad Mag hype? Back when I first started posting here regularly, you couldn't spit without hitting a post praising the glory of the Quad Mag. It was everywhere....now I see it virtually nowhere.
Just an observation.

quad mag motor is still a great motor, but then the money came, and the money took over. second to the money is the element, but now the quad mag is a great budget 19t motor now. you can get them pretty cheap.

im beginning to here that the new peak dynasty and the new orion element 19t spec motors, basically the same company. are taking some of the money out of the money motor. i may have to look into this further, hearing very good things on both motors, like faster than the komodo, probably the fastest 19 t motors out there??? hmmmm, that would also include checkpoint[sm=confused.gif]. just going to have do some research here, and test them myself.

Hands down 19 money. The best $49.00 ever spent on a motor. This sucker hauls. Got one for my T4. It runs faster than the Reedy
30,000 rpm with an 8.4. The techs at Checkpoint recommend not using an 8.4,and thats fine with me. They really took time with the design of this motor. Kudos to Checkpoint[sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif][sm=thumbup.gif]

Hi fellas, I'm looking for a decent torquey motor with high rpm for my Tamiya Boomerang, would it be good for a 1/10th 4wd buggy or is it better suited to touring cars?

Money motors first, Orion Element second, KD third. Ive owned and ran all three. The Moeny lasts the longest bewtween cuts and brushes. Element likes to run on teh hot side, and KD wasnt even worth running.

Defintly the money motor. I have it and it's the best brushed motor I've ever owned. Of course I've had good luck with the trinity speed gems motors also.

Best brush life, best performance, best everything.
