Thank you for opening this forum. What are your thoughts regarding turbine engines and the level of support AMA will be providing its turbine waivered members?

I think AMA and all of its elected officers have an obligation to support all modeling disciplines. Speaking specifically about the turbine community, I have been the AMA liaison to the Jet Pilot’s Organization since 2002 and, as a member of the Safety Committee was involved in the recent revisions and refinements to the Turbine Waiver Regulations that were approved by the EC in August. I’d certainly commit to continuing that level of support in the future.

Thank you for your comments. I was not aware that you were on the liaison committee for JPO. That in itself says all I need to know about your support.
