Well I had my 2nd flight today. My first flight was 2 weeks ago and I did turns and figure 8s. I went out today and well heres the story......
It was fairly windy today, but as my instructor said this is Saskatchewan and its always windy here, so you may as well learn to fly in it! so he took off got her up and level and handed it off to me(he said he wanted to train me without a buddy box, the old ways as he said). so doing level turns, figure 8s and the turns to line up with the runway. He said I was doing good so the next one go a little lower, then as I'm lined up the tells me to cut the throttle, (wait what, cut what? oh *&^% he going to make me land), well I landed nice and soft on all 3 wheels it as awsome if I say, even if I had to go change my pants. ok fueled up, a smoke to calm the nerves and time for lesson 3.

Ok takeoff class. I throttle up the wind grabs it a bit and looks like its going to go near some peopl stand on the end of the flight line. he kills the throttle and now Im 5ft off the ground no throttle trying to turn away from the flight line and losing speed fast. ended up going nose gear first along with the left wing tip first. opps my first crash.

I walk up to the palne, and no damage at all. so talk about it for a min. and the attempt it again. well I took off with no problems a few circuits a few aborted landing and another successful landing.

lol... you are lucky to have others that fly.
I'll be going solo on my first flight with no one but my buddy waiting to do the same exact thing with his plane.
I smell 2 kits in the near future from our RTF's.
