Default My excelorin brushless for micro T conversion...

Well I tracked one down today. The conversion to the 8250kv went fairly smooth minus the fact that I couldnt find the LOSB0820 servo saver for the SM22. But a trimming of the 4 way servo horn that came with the SM22 and putting in a screw from the mini T to act as the arm to the rack, it works great. I'm not too worried about the servo cause I made now steering arms from a zip tie the was pretty flexible. The reciever I used is a Futaba fasst 603 to link up with my 2.4g 3PM...kinda big for it, but it just barely squeezes in there. As far as performance is concerned, my run times are longer(roughly45-50min using the lipo, and that is hard driving on the track in my basement), and speed is insane for this size car. I ordered the 10250kv just for giggles...but all in all I absolutly love it! Best $50 bucks Ive spent on it so far...got a spare body too so I airbrushed it to match my mini-t...

what lipo are you using? I am looking to get longer run times for my micro-t and have the lipo..haven't used it yet though. With the stock batt. I get 5minutes...I don't really want all that speed but its a plus I guess.

Is the 45-50minute run times a typo?

Is it faster on the bottom end? Are you running a 3.7v or 7.4?
