i´m working in a new construction,this is an old racing boat "white heat v"
is an american design for de 60´s,it measures 42 inch.
my engine for this proyect is a marine glow engine sts 28

Excellent Classic! I love it! An original Octura steerable outdrive like they use would be awesome!

You're doing a good job so far, almost done with all the woodwork! Thanks for uploading all the pictures, nice!

I was wondering if I am reading this correctly, the boat is 42" long and you are going to put a sts.28 in it? Wont this boat be way under powered, Isn't this a full size 1/8 scale hull that would require a .67 size engine? The only reason I ask is the sport 40's I have been looking at are 36" and are taking a .45 size engine. Your Build Looks Great

I would like to know what all the different versions look like. Do the White Heats stop at version 5? We have what I think are three versions here so far...

The one I posted was labeled a White Heat but what verison?

i know that the sts 28 marine glow engine is smaller for the white heat v but a don´t have another bigger glow engine.
I will try the hull are lighter thant is possible.

Nice work. Should be awsome when complete. Question, do you have a lot of fresh water lakes, ponds, rivers in Spain?

in spain there are no more lakes,ponds etc,but in my province (Valencia) there are more lakes
i drive my boat in a "Regajo" lake
i drive my boats with the "Club fsr Valencia" members.

only in this lake is no illegal tu drive a nitro or petrol boat,and we need a official licence
in spain we have very problems to drive a nitro or petrol nitro boats with the enviromental pollution laws

Have you tried to mount a flywheel, and drive collet on your STS .28 marine engine yet? I saw those on eBay, and they have the SG piloted shaft meant for a 1/8 scale car/buggy clutch. Not sure you will be able to mount a flywheel/collet on there, the threads are too short. ANother problen is this engine's slide carb. It's easy to overcome in a wide, vee or mono hull, but theres not much room for a bellcrank throttle assembly in your hydro there.

i buyed on ebay 4 days ago a flywheel cmb 21marne engine for my sts 28 marine glow engine buyed on ebay too in rcworldwide shop of china
but y don´t know if its compatible whit my engine,because i haven´t got yet
i need a collet coupling 3/16" hexflex,and a teflon tube for 3/16" and 25" long
do you know one ebay shop to sell this collet coupling and teflon tube?
in spain there are no more shops to boats rc,and y buy all on ebay shops

you were asking about collet and flex drive- you should find all you need at rcworldwide- same place you got your flywheel

i have all hardware needed for my white heat
i was buyed the collet coupling in rcworldwide
i was buyed the flywheel in "head of the river" ebay shop
i was buyed the propeller in "hey dude look i what i found" ebay shop
i was buyed flexi shaft in "pmb" ebay shop

i had some problems whith rcworldwide,because this seller don´t have updating daily.
this seller don´t answer my questions
