Default securing fuel tanks

Hi all,

I have 2 x 10oz sullivan slant tanks in the sponsons on my Cat, they are a seroiusly good fit and really wedged in there well,
do you think I will need any other method of securing them in place?! If so, what would you recommend, epoxy? elastic bands?alu bracket?

Cheers,
Sam.

Go run it. If the tank fall out stick something like foam under it to increase the tightness of the fit. If the tank doesn't fall out, you're good to go.

I use a little spray foam in the can to hold them. Just don't use a hole lot. If you no it soaks up water. I use a very small shot use it like glue. The good thing about that is if you have to remove them you just pull out the foam.

That's what it was originally made for but people have found a lot of other uses for it. The stuff is basically a silicone gel.
