Thats insane!!! Sweet, I wonder which model they used, if it was a manufactured kit that is!!

I know is not SM, JL or FB.
Missing 60% of the wing and still flying is only rock stable plane can do.

Raffi can use one of these system onboard.

Their should use Skymaster F-18. It save them a lot time and money by not install in the mechanist device to made the wing came off. Sorry I can't resit eigther.[sm=lol.gif]

JAJAJA, don't get mad, I am just joking... But it is your jet loosing a wing in the video you must recognize it looks funny as everyone is trying that not to happen to our jets...

Anyway very cool system to fly it back with just half wing.

This models shows a strange stabilizer behavior at takeoff: high frequency movement around neutral.
Is this induced by the stabilization system ?

Interesting as the stabilator oscillation on take-off is typical on the F18F videos I have seen of the full scale as well.

well some years back one of our pilots got an F-15 back on one wing only..

It came in at 250kts...landed safely.

I have see that. I don't know if I call him brave or putting two life at risk.
But pretty sure he is dawn good pilot.

Interesting that in the video that when the wing folds, they blanked out the movements that the stab and rudder are doing for a few seconds. Maybe they want to keep it a secret...

that was an israel defense force f-15 and the ground inspection team didnt believe it happened in flight until the viewed data from the aircrafts computers

I just watched the video, pretty cool. With tailerons its not that big of a deal, besides they left a good portion of the wing. The whole inboard section including the flap is still attached.
At least we know what BVM's secret government contract is now.

You could land that baby in your sleep. No need for commputer onboard.
