Default Aluminum HUB EXTENSIONS

Hi guys n gals,

Here are the first pictures of the hub extenders we will be offering for our cars. I will have something up on the himotoracingusa.com homepage shortly. They will cost around $24.99. Give me some input on the sizes you would want/need.

Here are the sizes:

For the HSP models

12mm x 1" long
12mm x 1 1/2" long
14mm x 1" long (so you can use 14mm rims)
14mm x 1 1/2" (so you can use 14mm rims)

For the Megap series, MXT, MTR, MXB SERIES:

12mm x 1" long
12mm x 1 1/2" long
14mm x 1" long (so you can use 14mm rims)
14mm x 1 1/2" (so you can use 14mm rims)

here are some pictures of my mamba stock (with mtr rims and tires) and with the 12mm x 1" extensions.

thats with 1" extensions, shipping will be 9.99 a set (4) and they should be available next week.

since the tsunami is the same as the mamba, they will work fine.

Eddie....

How are they held on to the Axle....Is it just the Pin that holds them on?

How do they Not Wobble?

ed ,these are the rims i have, do you think they will work with the 1 inch extensions? or do you think i better go with the 1-1/2 ? the hex in these rims are really really deep. is there a way to measure? http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXJK62&P=ML

they are held in with pins, the have very little wobble to them, i would say the same amount of play that they have with the plastic hex's because of the play with the axle/bearing. I am very happy with them so far. still testing, they should be available next week, waiting on the ones for the megap's. should be here in a couple of days.

they will work fine with the 1" but if the offset is more twards the inside of the rim, your better off with the 1 1/2"

where the hex goes into the rim, if its closer to the inside or the outside of the rim. I think the 1" extensions look great on my mamba with the mtr rims, i dont think it needs the larger ones but the offset on the rustler rims may be less so they wont stick out as much. Sometimes you can make the stance too wide and it looks funny.

ok, understand completely ,the offset on these traxxas rims is way close to the outside of the rims ,so i think i will go with the 1-1/2 ,thanks ed

Funny part is that it handles really great already, its almost impossible to flip out of the box, i cant wait to see how much better its going to be now.

Looks good!

I'm planning on using the 1" size with some 40 series Prolines (or equivalent) with no offset, so the with SHOULD stay close to Stock....

Planning on putting some Truggy tires, like LPR's......

I think it'll work Great and Look Cool too!
