Thanks guys, race not confirmed yet. Should have word by tomorrow latest.
Hi Lost, I'm taking the electrics and servos out of one of my old buggies for this truggy. But they do have Futaba 2.4 radios and receivers and servox servos. There's a new OS .28 VZ with an OS 2060 pipe going into it as well. The hobby shop I got the X2 from sells werks and novarossi engines.
Give them a call and have a chat, they're very helpful guys
.
Front end is done.

Thanks Jamea...that's the plan bro...[:-].
You joining us?
Enough for today.....this is where I stop for the night. More tomorrow.
BTW...thanks to Revo G for the eagle eyes. You were the only one to spot that mistake. Everyone take a look at the 'diff pictures' and tell me if you can spot the mistakes. They have been fixed

Thanks Mister-E. F 7, C 15, R 5.
I'm impressed with this fuel tank. The built in grooves for the fuel line holders are a brilliant idea. So's the fact that the tank 'floats' and is held in place with cotter pins.
Would have thought that a 'pro kit' would have come with a few more upgrades....alu wing stay posts, alu servo tray posts, alu center diff holder....
Oh well....a few things to upgrade then...
Also.....unfortunately there will not be an 'organized' race this Friday..[&o]..but don't let that stop you from coming out. Arif had some unforseen commitments crop up....I may also have something coming up, just don't know for sure yet.

for your chassis braces, i replaced mine with 7075 aluminum ones from king heads from day one and i haven't faced any problems with my servo stays and holders so you should be fine. We both run the same kit so it should be all good, i do suggest going with an aluminum steering servo arm as i have stripped the plastic one too easily.

Engine sealed with Lucky 7, just letting it dry up and set before I drop it in.

Put also a zip tie on the throttle boot as well!
Then it'll be the best sealed engine in the UAE.
For more grip and weight, leave the plastic chassis braces alone!
