A Movie from the Sat. 8/30/08 Hawgfest at Buttonwillow has been posted to the California Jets website.
It can be found in the Jets Movies Theater in the Video Vault.
Go to [link=http://www.ca-jets.com]www.ca-jets.com[/link] and click "enter" on the splash page.
Then click on the "Debrief" button. Then the "Movies" button.
At the bottom of the "Filmage" page is a link to the "Video Vault" Click it.
Then click on the "Jet Movies" theater link and it's the movie at the top of the list/theater.
The Quicktime movies' resolution is WAY better than the Windows Media version. If you don't have it...d'load it NOW.

Sorry for the runaround, but you have to work for your supper. Sign the Visitors Logbook while you're there.

Speechless!!!!! That was my first impression when I saw the video Paul.

Before I comment on the awesome video, let me first tell you, Paul, this is probably the most important reason why I personally continue to have sooo much fun in this hobby. I feel bad for the rest of the modelers around the globe that have not had the pleasure of knowing you and experiencing the Paul Reese video experience. You do this not for money, you drove 4-1/2 hours, ONE WAY, in swelltering heat to film three guys fly their planes, not knowing what to expect for footage and then turn around and drive another 4-1/2 hours home. All of this would be enough by far but to then turn a finished product around in two days, .....again I am speechless. Paul, thank you so much for creating a video of the good times with friends, which thanks to you and your efforts, our memories of these days will never fade. Sincerely, Billy Edwards.

That video rocked. It all came together well. I love the opening when the Arabic horns kick in and the hogs are turning out. Great footage of a great day. Got to love the "willow"

That is some crazy fast turnaround in the editing bay...do you ever sleep? It is priceless to have that rewarding day documented. What a feeling that was to have the rush of the big maiden shared by Dave and I with the "Boss Hog" Billy there to guide us. Big thanks to Paul and Mike for the camera work (I thought Mike was going to blow a hernia holding that big camera in the heat), as well as Jason and Gordo for all the ground support. I can't thank you enough.

Next time you see that hog, he'll be staring back at you!

PAUL/Mike, The video truly captured the HEAT, THE PASSION and THE EXCITEMENT.

Lets put things in perspective: This is about starting with a project, spend next six months passionately building and fine detaling not to mention shelling out some major hard earned dollars. FINALLY its the time to put all that into test. Imagine the adrenaline, dopamine, cyanalamine and the others (not including the illegal amines...lool) rushing through these guys bloods.

I truly enjoyed being there with these guys even in the sweltering heat. To experience the moments and share the excitement with JOE, DAVE and Boss HOG Billy was awsome.

This hobby, as much as it seems to be about big expensive toys, is most importantly about group of awsome dudes in comradry sharing an excellent exprience.

Thanks to Gordon for sparing us from Willow Deputy BUFORD JUSTICE .

Now everyone knows why they're able to watch a movie about it! Without this key component, there is no draw for me.
With this key component, I'll always give 100% to documenting these special, most cool occasions...even having to enter hell to do it.
(BUT...I definitely enjoy it much, much more when the toys are big and expensive!)

Awesome video Paul. I honestly never really cared much for the A10 til now.
Love those landings. Great job guys. Hate to think about setting those airplanes up. Must of been a ton of work to get to this stage.
