We have been following the various threads about different-colored dots on Futaba FASST receivers. We have asked Futaba about their significance. As soon as information is available, it will be distributed.

In the meantime, anyone who has been using the receivers that do not have the dot can continue to fly with confidence. By observing the suggestions on the previously published "FASST Receiver Installation Guidelines" ( http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_7606959/tm.htm ), these receivers have shown themselves to be fully capable of meeting Futaba's specifications. As we have stated in the past, if anyone feels that they have had a problem with any Futaba product, they are encouraged to send it in to the Futaba Service Center with a complete description of the issues and we will be happy to check it out.

Lastly, Futaba has always followed a program of continuously improving their products. They do this to make sure that modelers Worldwide have the finest equipment made. This is typically done without fanfare so that customers can trust that their R/C systems will give them many years of trouble free service.
