Well this is lovely. I just got in an accident. With my new (to me) car.

What happened? I'm starting to move into the left turn lane when a truck comes flying past and rips along the side of my '97 Legacy GT I've owned for just 8 days. My fault of course, as the lane was occupied. [&o] I now have a fat $100 ticket and 2 points. [:@][:@][:@]

Yeah I'm glad no one was hurt, it could have been a lot worse! It was one of those work trucks with the beds with all the doors on them. The impact ripped off two of the doors and sent one of them flying into traffic. Imagine that hitting a convertible or going through a window. [X(]

Incidentally, it was a GMC 2500. That's notable because my other two accidents (back in 2000 and 2002) were with GMC 2500 trucks. Forget radar detectors, I need one that goes off for GMC trucks.

lol the gm trucks are tuff, thats what my friend hit, the gm truck had no damage, but his truck had to be towed home by the truck he hit,

If this would make you feel better, I totalled my first car (it was a brand new '97 Nissan Maxima 5-speed!) within 3 months of owning it..

I got the Toyota afterward.. 210k miles now..
