The big brown truck dropped of a couple boxes for me to work on. Just happened to be a AT6 that I am to build for RR24. The fuse has been started, so all I mainly have to do is build the rest of the plane. Will have Pic,s as soon as I get them down loaded.
All posts welcome as we can work together on this one .

I just put the landing gear in the center and have just a little mods to do and it will be ready to sheet. You no I dumped the plans you had for the flaps[:@] There were a few peaces of wood missing no problem though going together real nice.

It's Fiberglass Specialties if your interested. Just look in the cowl and accessories for kits section. It's a nice part.

Shoud be no problem, Time to start watching glue dry
Just wondering , do you have the air equipement tanks line and valve, and yes what was the size of that engine you have, Just thinking it might be wise to put the servos in the tail for the elevator. They will mount there real nice. One on each side!

This thing generally requires substantial amounts of nose weight (understatement) and I would recommend putting everything as far forward as possible. I think that even those guys who are using a G-38 up front are still needing nose weight to balance. I would certainly recommend doing your homework before sticking anything aft of the CG that does not have to go there.

I just finished my Texan restoration. Finished installing the radio gear and tuning the engine yesterday. Balance check shows that even with the heavy Quadra 35, it is tail heavy. Also using fixed landing gear. Do not have any weights now so will have to balance it later this week. Then it will be ready to fly.

Now back to the wings and tail feathers. Servo mounts and skin well be a snap since the fuse was like covering a Coke bottle. I never new that plane had so many curves

Thought you would like to see the tail feathers and how I am doing them. You can see the glue I startd useing. works great and sets up fast for joining sheets.
