Guys we need your help...please read
Guys the Woodland-Davis Aeromodelers in Northern California need your help. The club that has been at the Mavis Henson field for the past 25 years is being encroached upon by development and we are losing our lease. The club has raised enough money internally to purchase a new site. We want to build a permanent facility here in Northern California that would be capable of hosting all modeling events, up to and including National and World level competition.. The current site has a 600x50 paved runway and an adjacent 800x50 grass runway beside it. We also have a pond for float flying and boating. In addition we have a large control line contingent and 4 circles to fly U-Control and Helicopters. We intend to build a new facility with all of the aforementioned, plus the only tether car track in all Northern California.
WDA is running a fund raising campaign through our web site. Please take a look you can make a simple donation to the club through the web site via Paypal or mail it in. Your donation is tax deductible since we are registered as a non profit 501c3 with the IRS. Please guys we have a lot of numbers out there both nationally and internationally. If everyone just helps out a little it can add up quick. As we all hear about sites being lost due to urban sprawl we are looking to provide a permanent home for all modelers here. Please click on the link below and help us make this happen.
If you would also post replies to keep this towards the top of the forums so that others can find it that would be great to. We need to get the word out to as many as possible

Since you are soliciting RC Universe participants, I assume your raffle includes shipping, handling, and insurance if the winner is not present at the drawing!!?? What are the particulars on shipping the airplane, engine, radio to the winner... Thanks for clearing up this problem.
