I just remembered I have not posted any photos of the Pilot that Alex gave me in the Flash...
I need to give her a name
I'm sure you guys will come up with some creative names

Way to go Rich. I wish I could have seen the maiden.
The pitch up may have been caused by the crow but most of mine gets canceled out by the flap and gear.
Is your full flap still half of my full flap?

Hey Mark, I was wishing you were thee also...Ron did a good job talking to me in your absence
Yes my Flap is half of yours, I didn't mix any down elevator like you had so i guess that will be the next adjustment.

Hey Rich, the Flash looks great and sounds even better. I have just started building my Thunderbirds scheme Flash to be powered with a Rabbit also. Did you use the stock pipe or a different pipe. I really like the way yours sounds.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I have a Rabbit also looking for a home. Does anyone want to sell me their Flash that is gathering dust in the corner?

Ok so here is another question that I would like an opinion on.
My first flight resulted in a Kangaroo hop landing, even though I was pulling back on the elevator.
This would tend to point to the CG being too far forward...which in this case it was because I balanced the model with my UAT full and my hopper tank 1/4 full, however on the first flight I landed after 5 minutes and I had a full hopper tank and a 1/2 full main tank... this caused a forward CG location.
My current tank arrangement is the main tank is the last tank in series, then the 18 oz hopper and then the UAT; I choose this arrangement in hopes of getting all of the fuel out of the main tank first, as other has had issues because of the lack of the sump in the main tank.
However this is not the optimum set-up to maintain the correct CG.
Should I change the plumbing arrangement and have the 18 oz tank as the last one in the system, this would then drain the 18 oz tank first allowing a better CG configuration.

move your header tank to behind the main tank like most of us have our smoke tanks, then it shouldn't be a problem with balance issues.

being you don't run the wing tank, stick it there.

I also want to tip lights, did anyone ever get the lens made? I know Todd was going to make some.

I've been so busy working on customers jets i haven't had the chance to work on the tip lenses myself.
how much air are you getting in the header tank after a flight? i fly my main tank close to dry and the UAT hardly ever has any significant amount of air in it.....those times I've got carried away and flew till she flamed out the main had less then 1/4" of fuel left in it.

I will just change the plumbing and give it a try, if the small 18oz tank is depleted first the issues with the CG go away, and it looks like you confirmed that as long as you have at least 1/4" of fuel left in the main tank the UAT will not pass any air bubbles.
So I think the problem will be solved...
THANKS

I have the tips from my Flash tanks that I used to make the lenses for my lights right here. If Todd wants them to make lenses for the Flash, I can send them to him. Do one of you guys want to confirm this with Todd and see if he wants me to send them?
I think I used the 25 mm version of these in my tip tank lights:
