Default P80 - how to increase spoolup time and see runtime?

Hi there

My friend just got a second hand P80, and we wonder where to see the total number of running hours?
Are there any ways to increase the spool-up time for the turbine? Any hidden options perhaps? It seems to be very slow today..
The turbine has a ECU version 2.0 with GSU.

Send it to jetcat.... if not for anything other then an ECU upgrade. When it leaves jetcat it should go directly to the smithsonian.

Hi Lars,

Sorry it has been so long since I touched a version 2 I don't remember how to do it. I will call Wilcox today and see if he remembers.

Regards,

One way to decrease the spool up time is to have an idle up on the retract switch so the turbine does not go below 50,000 rpm in flight, but ensure the high end does not go beyond the learnt throttle curve if the version 2 ECU has one or you will get a flame out, now how do you think I know that?
