I just upgraded to an aluminum driveshaft today... and I have installed bearings in all the bushing areas. It is much faster now! less noisy! more stable!

I've done that at our lhs but using a kyosho mp7.5 on nitro, noisy and smelly but good fun, thank god that Ronny the owner of the shop has a sence of humer. I was standing outside the shop at the time.
