My cousin Kyle is looking for both . . .
1) a 4-channel electric park-flyer either wood or foam that is RTF and he would like it to be $150 or less
2) a 4-channel electric park-flyer preferrably wood ARF that can be set up with a 400-450 Eflite motor, for around $75.
#2 doesn't HAVE to be built for electric but can be glow that can be coverted.
He also wants the online source to have a 2nd day shipping option. Please include links.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

For #2 Kyle has decided on this . . .
[link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001058804&I=LXCZJ7&P=K]Hobbico Fuselage Superstar EP[/link] $28.99
[link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001058804&I=LXJKN1&P=K]Hobbico Wing Kit w/Ailerons SuperStar EP[/link] $39.99
[link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001058804&I=LXCZJ8&P=K]Hobbico Tail Set Superstar EP[/link] $14.49
[link=http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&W=001058804&I=LXCZJ9&P=K]Hobbico Landing Gear Set SuperStar EP[/link] $1.19
Total package: $84.66
Decided on the Hobbico Superstar EP but they no longer supply the complete ARF so he wants to purchase the components separate. Now please tell me that the Superstar can accept a Eflite 400 or 450 motor with a 20amp ESC? If the answer is “Yes” the purchase will be made.
Now he needs an answer to #1. Any suggestions?

Is he willing to build a kit? He could get something like a Dandy Sport from Mountain Models or the Magpie (all foam so no covering). Both get rave reviews and are about $50 plus building supplies.
Or have a look at the GWS E-starter. Also a great plane - can be had for ~$40.
If he's willing to spend a little more - Hobby Lobby has the mini telemaster ARF with two wings (aileron and non aileron) receiver ready for $190. That would give a lot of flexibility with the two wings.
There are lots of options that would probably work.
IMO that Superstar is pretty big for a park flyer.

So a 450 motor would be too small?
