Default right or left thrust?

I just a great deal on a Alpha 40 trainer. One thing I noticed that the engine came already mounted,,,but I noticed that it had a lot of left thrust in it, Does it mke any difference which way the thrust goes? It comes with a 3-blade prop.

Right it should be.
Neutral it may be.
Left is wrong, I believe.

You do know right or left is relative to like your point of view as if your sitting inside the model facing front. It's pretty obvious but I thought I had aughta bring it up.
I've never seen any model with left thrust. Especially a popular ARF Trainer like an Alpha 40.

Thats what I thought,,just double checking....never had to deal with thrust issues before. but ,yea,, it has a whole lot of left thrust. How much right do I need to have and how can I tell if I have enough?

The only time I think you should have left thrust is on the left side of a multi engine plane.-BW

Tazzzz, If you were sitting in the cockpit, the engine should point straight or slightly (1 or 2 degrees) to your right (or the airplane's right side)

Thankyou,,,I tthought it was unusual for a factory set up to have as much a left thrust as this one did.Must have been a friday night frenzy at the factory. BTW whats up with SIG,,,are they still in business ? They have absolutley nothing available.

Thanks againTAZZZZ

I think Sig is in trouble. The company has been for sale for a long time now after the owner had some serious health issues, but no one is interested in buying it.

My guess (and this is only speculation) is that it will eventually fall into default and then other companies will buy it up in bits and pieces.
