I know that most Integy parts are junk but I haven't had any problems with their wheelie bar.

Just in case you didn't buy the Traxxas wheelie bar yet here are some more pics of the Integy bar installation that bolts on with two screws and works a lot better than the stock HPI wheelie bar.

I like the dual wheel wheelie bar....mine is the single wheel HPI bar and the darn truck looks like a waddling penguin when it's doing its thing. In the end, I chose a CB/spur that would barely allow wheelies. I can still do wheelies, but they usually don't flip the truck, plus I get higher top speed.

i only used zip tie you can put screws just like steed said, but the zip tie holds well for me,just make sure to put zip ties in all corners.,.yeah it wheelies forever on half throttle, its more stable than the hpi wheelie bar. before it was a dancing penguin.

Just got one of the traxxas wheelie bars today,

bolted it to the rear bumper with a couple spare baja 5b bolts i had laying around,

cant believe how many settings are on the wheelie bar, probably the best thing traxxas ever built.

Old thread I know, but would like to comment on the traxxas wheelie bar on a savage....2 thumbs up. Not a traditional way of installing, but its durable and does allow you to ride wheelies....head and shoulders above the hpi single wheel wheelie bar...in function and looks. Good call.
