F4U Corsair
The specifications for this Giantscaleplanes F4U Corsair are:
· Wingspan – 75.5 inches
· Length – 52 inches
· 6 channels (throttle, ailerons, flaps, rudder, elevator, retracts).
It’s got a fiberglass fuselage and wing center section; the flying surfaces are framed and covered. There is some minor “hangar rash” in which paint scratched during a household move (which can be fixed with some flat latex paint).
The Corsair has never been flown and will require some finish work (finalize retract system installation, balance it, set up the engine choke, etc.). There is a brand new Zenoah G-23 with a Pitts-style muffler and an aluminum prop hub. It includes a Robart air retract system, Robart wheels, 8 Airtronics and Hitec servos, a full cockpit and a full-body pilot. I will throw in a Spring Air Products hand pump for the retract system.
It needs a battery and receiver.
I much prefer local pick-up and am willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you.
