RARE Sig Liberty Sport Exact Scale Radio Control Kit, N.I.B.
This is a rare, long out of production kit produced by SIG Mfg, Kit # RC-33. This kit is new-in-box, complete, and in great condition!
The Sig Liberty Sport builds into a gorgeous exact scale model of the full-scale home-built by Orval Lloyd, and many consider it one of the most attractive biplanes of all time!
This craftsman model kit has been a consistent contest winner, including the US National Scale Masters competition. Even today, 50 years later, if you take the time to build it to scale, it will be a show-stopper!
The kit features high quality SIG die-cut wood and balsa parts, formed plastic cowl and wheel pants, pre-bent landing gear, full-scale plans, three-view outline drawings, six colorful decal sheets, photos for scale judging, and a custom hardware package. The finished model will have a 57" wingspan, 45" length, and will require a 4-channel radio, and a .45-.60 2-cycle nitro engine. A .70-.91 4-cycle would be even better, and electric conversion is easily doable for most modelers. The Liberty Sport builds light, typically around eight pounds, and flys like a Sunday sport flyer; any pilot with intermediate skills can handle it easily.
