Description:

I am selling the production assets for the old line of Crow Aviation (CAI) jet kits. The inventory is extensive and includes the molds, plugs, tooling and many parts for the jet models they once produced as well as a couple that, as far as I know, never went into production.

The models range in size from large sport and scale models to a small EDF. Those of you familiar with the line will recognize the names (all size quotes are approximate);

Sport models;

Predator (84" span)
Raptor (72" span)
Razor (64" span)
Raven

Scale models;

F9F Panther
F-100 Super Sabre (76" span) it's LARGE
A-4 Skyhawk with molded-in surface detail (58" length, similar to Yellow Aircraft Skyhawk)
F-16 Falcon (fuselage plug and a few part molds)

The sport models and F-100 have one-piece wings and stabs. All tooling can be used as-is, but anyone interested in possibly resurrecting the line back into production would most likely benefit from retooling these designs with plug-in wings and stabs.

There are more than 50 boxes of items PLUS all of the molds and plugs located in Harrisburg, PA. A 25 foot box truck will be required to move it all.

This is an opportunity for a motivated group of modelers to get together and pool resources. You can either have your own private line of awesome looking and flying models with the potential to sell a few here and there or go into full production.

I have over 150 photos of the inventory that I will be happy to send to seriously interested parties. Some samples are attached below.

The price is $35k, picked up in Harrisburg, PA. Financing terms can be discussed with qualified buyers.

Thanks for looking. I hope this awesome line of jets finds a home that will do it justice!

Tom

PLEASE NOTE!Photos and video of built models are only posted to illustrate what the designs look like when complete. I DO NOT own the built models and they are NOT included in the sale.

This is an opportunity to update some very attractive and well-flying designs, with the potential to bring them back to market using today's standards.

The raptor was and still is imo one of the best flying sport jets ever produced. I am still flying one that is now 21 years old. I've had multiple sport jets including a super bandit and flash and nothing flies as crisp and precise as a raptor. I have had a razor as well and it was equally as good. The F100 never made it far enough into production to really know and the panther built without the folding wing mechanism was an awesome jet as well.

I would love to see this line up back in production, as long as they are built as strong as the originals were. I will never give up my raptor.
