New DLE 61 engine with updates as follows;

• block sanded the reed block flat to improve the reed seals. Better starts and throttle response
• carb diaphragm vent mod to give the carb its own cool air supply. Ideal for cowl installations to keep the carb pump from stalling due to heat
• Cross drilled the mounting bolts and carb bolts for safety wire, added thread lock, safety wired and ready for use
• New NGK CM-6 spark plug, needs to be gapped for use

Just to be clear - the engine case and cylinder have not been modified or taken apart, still factory new and unchanged. Only the plastic carb reed block, the black part in between the carb and the head, was improved for better performance. This engine is ready to mount and run.
