HSD Mirage
HSD Mirage Turbine Ready. Purchased this Mirage new about 6 months ago. It flies great and only has 5 flights on it. Our field is a little too rough for it and the nose gear pin bent. I replaced it with a hardened pin and then put two more flights without issue however I just don't want to beat it up on our field. Flew great on a Jet Munts 100 (Not Included). Original fuel tank was too small for more than a 5 minute flight so I installed an 80 ounce tank. Now 7 minute flights are possible with go around fuel. Factory smoke system installed but never used. Used a grade 10 hardened button head bolt with a long shank, 5mm I think. Cut off threads, machined the head down to the same size as the original one using a drill and grinder. Lot stronger than the stock one and easy to make another one if ever needed.
