I got it from my friend about 3 years ago. Before he got sick he began building the kit. I would think it is about 4 years old. It has always ben kept in a air conditioned area.

I have heard that also. But that must have been the later models or other than this model. Like maybe a year ago. This is built in a very strong way. The rudder has one direct servo and the elevator has two direct drive servos one for each surface elevator and mechanism which go with the airplane. Do not power with more then a160 engine. Go to the web site and they have a video that really wrings this airplane out. I am prepared to make you a deal on this airplane if you would enjoy the airplane. I would not sell a junk airplane to anyone.
Thanks
Ed

I have contacted the factory and they assured me that this particular airplane "no more than a 160 newton turbo" is very strong. I believe them. I will make you an offer if the plane does come apart and it is the fault of the plane, with appropriate evidence ( Pictures etc.) I will return your money. How does that sound? I can have it boxed and sent by Greyhound bus which is very reasonable.

I have one and have been flying it for years using a JC Rhino ( 36 lbs) and it is an absolute fun airplane to fly. It pretty much flies like a powered glider in my opinion.
